Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

Project managers are responsible for managing projects, leading teams to deliver projects that span across teams, and ensuring the quality and time plan. Manage resources, schedules, financials, and quality of systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure project delivery, commitments, and goals. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. Senior Project Manager might be required to coach and mentor junior staff and ensure that they can manage the projects properly.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to define project scope, resources, timeline, cost and prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the projects.
  • Identify required resources based on appropriate competencies and proficiencies level in response to the roles within the projects.
  • Communicate project status update regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues to stakeholders and management team and seek appropriate decisions/directions / approvals
  • Coordinate and facilitate with related parties for required meetings, and workshops.
  • Identify & manage risks and issues, monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
  • Lead vendor selection process from request for information, evaluation, scoring, scope & price negotiation until contract is signed.
  • Build and motivate project team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Coach and mentor Junior Project Manager


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in IT, Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Management Information System, or related fields
  • 5+ years proven experience in project management, IT Software delivery or ITconsulting

Knowledge & Skills

  • Experienced in Software delivery project, Project Management, Agile or SCRUM methodologies, PMP certificated is a plus.
  • Strong problem analysis, analytic & systematic thinking, good human relations, mature and good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Good in teamwork and collaboration and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Good command of English (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening)
  • Vendor and Contract management
  • Background in banking/ digital platforms (is a plus).
