The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) has successfully launched an enhanced Loan Processing System (LPS), developed in partnership with the TechXPlattnera Collaboration Group. This group includes SCB Tech X Co., Ltd., a digital technology expert and platform-as-a-service provider under the SCBX Group, and Platt Nera Co., Ltd., an IT solutions provider. The LPS project aims to significantly enhance the efficiency and capability of BAAC’s loan services and collateral management systems. It supports the end-to-end loan processing workflow, ensuring high-quality loan services while mitigating risks associated with credit approval. As of July 9, 2024, the system has been successfully deployed nationwide.
This partnership represents a pivotal advancement in broadening equitable and inclusive access to financial products for Thai farmers. Additionally, it improves the operational efficiency of BAAC staff, enabling them to provide superior service. The announcement was made by Mr. Chatchai Sirilai, President of BAAC, Mr. Pavarej Hwangdee, Chief Product Officer of SCB TechX, and Mr. Patrapon Juntraporn, Solutions Director of Platt Nera, at a ceremony held at the BAAC Head Office.
