SCB TechX proposed the concept of the PointX application, a novel reward points concept, to address Siam Commercial Bank’s desire to enhance the credit card reward point system in order to alleviate user frustrations.
The biggest gripe of credit card holders has always been the lack of flexibility in redeeming reward points and the inability to mix points from different cards.
SCB TechX came up with approaches to address this issue and implemented them for our clientele. To solve the issue, we treat reward points like a new currency that can be used much like cash through an app that offers multiple ways to redeem points.
Combining a digital banking platform with an e-commerce platform into one application is always a difficult notion, and this application was no exception.
SCB TechX’s ability to create groundbreaking new concepts is boundless, thanks to its talented staff and cutting-edge infrastructure. Using user feedback, we designed PointX as an app that goes above and beyond for its users, with features like a delivery monitoring system and a tool to locate stores taking part in promotional programs.
Many businesses and loyalty programs are interested in collaborating with the application.
In order to alleviate long-standing customer complaints, it is sometimes necessary to step back and question fundamental assumptions. Ideally, this will lead to commercially viable breakthroughs that can be applied to other industries.
