Job Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact and manage a fruitful relationship with company’s customer and suppliers.
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships based on project requirements
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations and work closely with legal to ensure financial conditions, resources, and contractual terms are favorable to the company.
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative supplier proposal and negotiate to secure advantageous contractual terms and project deadlines
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness, anticipate price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing
  • Finalize purchase details and process purchase orders to acquire software and services
Knowledge, Skills and Competency
  • BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
  • Over 3-5 years of experience in technology delivery, servicing, and IT consulting
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer preferrable in IT industry
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to be personable yet persistent
  • Experience in banking processes
  • Ability to work both in supervisory and execution mode
  • Demonstrated success in motivating and cultivating team
