Job Summary

Vision: To support SCB Tech X delivery labs in building an E2E digital experience for customers.

Mission: Oversee business projects and ensure that are completed on time and within budget. They also ensure all team members uphold the SCB Tech X’s standards throughout each project’s development and execution.

Job Responsibilities
  • Achieve operational objectives by establishing project governance structure; defining and embedding controls and agile framework for project delivery within SCB TechX labs and IT 3rd party vendors. Provide a quality assurance role in line with defined PMO guideline to assess process and deliverable quality, uphold customer-service standard, preparing and completing metrics.
  • Meet financial objectives by managing and compiling program level budgetary and KPI information. Oversee project costs and ensure finances – budget, forecast, actuals, margins and variances are well managed and initiate corrective actions. Track financial reporting whilst ensuring that the labs and projects adhere to the corporate financial processes.
  • Monitor program reporting and assist the lab leads and head of programs in reporting to senior management. Provide management reports by centralizing information and ensure that management prioritizes and align project goals to short- and long-term goals of the business.
  • Plan and schedule resource; forecast capacity vs. demand to identify shortfall or excesses of the resources. Identify people on the bench and project vacancies to minimize resource wastage. Summarize resource management financials to determine the margin and profitability.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities and maintaining personal networks to add value to job accomplishments.
Knowledge, Skills and Competency

Required

  • BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field (MSc/MA preferred)
  • 5-8 year experience in PMO office, technology delivery, or management and IT consulting
  • Experience in project management; can guide cross-functional teams and lead complex operational and strategic initiatives
  • Exposure to different project types: major enhancements, new content/platform integration, product launch/obsolescence programs, knowledge transition, process & tools transformation
  • Strong presentation and modeling skills; highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS project
  • Organized and capable of managing and tracking multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo, communicate new ideas, and provide informed opinions
  • Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business
  • Knowledge of online security practices and protocols
  • Demonstrated success in motivating and cultivating team

Desirable

  • Passion for web and mobile technologies and electronic gadgets (iOS, Android, HTML5, CSS, e.g.).
  • Experience in software engineering development and design experience using multiple technologies and languages
  • Experience in banking processes
