Contract Manager
Job Summary

To ensure that every contract signed by the SCB TechX contributes to its goals and objectives. To strategize, negotiate, advise management and supervising the implementation of contracts for optimal efficiency and the business signs beneficial deals.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations and work closely with business units to ensure financial conditions, resources, and contractual terms are favorable to the company from supplier and for services rendered to client.
  • Studying the requirements, duties and obligations of SCB TechX under contracts to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and industry regulations.  Researching business partners and their history prior to writing or signing contracts. 
  • Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself. 
  • Supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. 
  • Creating standard contracts that the company can use in its dealings with internal and external partners. 
  • Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal according to what’s best for the company.  Maintaining, updating and improving contractual records. 
Knowledge, Skills and Competency
  • Bachelor’s Degree in law or business administration. 
  • Over 2-5 years of experience in drafting, negotiating and managing contracts and agreements in technology delivery or IT field. 
  • Proficiency in business English in areas such as international trade, commerce, finance, insurance, banking, and many offices settings. 
  • Strong research skills and an in-depth understanding of financial analytics and legal agreements. 
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness and mathematical abilities. 
  • Proven working experience as a contract officer/associate preferably in IT industry.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as understanding market trends.
